Leading The Charge: Prohire Appoints Gary Banister as New Group Operations Director

As part of the Prohire’s vision to lead the charge as the UK’s most trusted provider of sustainable vehicle hire, we are delighted to announce that Gary Banister has joined the the business as Group Operations Director.

In support of our exciting plans for the future, Gary will lead our operations team on a number of business initiatives as we strive towards the delivery of our vision through a best-in-class operating platform and ‘customer first’ mindset.

Gary brings a wealth of experience and commercial vehicle industry knowledge gained in blue chip organisations including Morrisons, Rivus, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions & Lex Autolease. Throughout his career, Gary’s roles have centered on leading teams in process improvement (Gary holds qualifications in Lean Six Sigma methodology) with a goal of eliminating waste and enhancing customer experience

Commenting on his new role, Gary says: “I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to take the operational teams on a transformation journey as we continue the great work, we do in supporting all our customers.”

As a lifelong learner, Gary holds an MSc in Logistics Management and an MBA, along with being a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Gary is married and resides in Manchester.
