With more than a million organisations certified globally, ISO 9001 is the most widely recognised quality management system in the world and provides a basis for continuous overall performance improvement, risk identification and prevention, customer satisfaction and sustainable development.
The company first secured ISO 9001 in 2003.
Commenting on the latest achievement, Training & Compliance Manager, Arlene Steele said, “Prohire’s strategic intention is to be the UK’s preferred commercial vehicle fleet management partner and as such customer satisfaction and relationship management are both key. The ISO achievement follows on from the company’s multi-million-pound investment in its fleet, a series of business gains involving the placement of vehicles into new and existing customers, and positive customer feedback on Prohire’s service levels.
Prohire supplies commercial vehicles and full fleet support services to a wide range of business sectors including foodservice and catering, chilled food and pharmaceuticals, builders’ merchants, leisure retail and the brewing industry as well as to specialist logistics companies. It has recently secured new or additional contracts with major fleet operators within the food, distribution and services sectors.
